BNSDC Season 2015 – Round 36

A GRADE – Full Ladder

Two Darts 17 v Imports 4 – Match Stats

Looks like Two Darts have timed their run perfectly and are about to get the whip out in the home straight. Greg with a 119 peg, 17 and 18 dart game, Alex with a 108 and Rick with a 180. The under strength Imports fought bravely with Shane hitting 10 and John 14 tons including a 180 and an 18 dart game helping him win 3 games.

Ex Pats 11 v Panthers 10 – Match Stats

Panthers got off to a flyer blitzing to a 7-2 lead and a win looked academic for the felines. But never write off the Hillbillies as they came thundering home winning 5 of the last 6 singles with Mick F and Donny securing what seemed an unlikely victory an hour before. Tristan threw 16 tons with 2 wind, Donny a 180 in his 8 tons with 3 wins and Stewy a 14 darter along with 3 wins and 10 tons. Another big night for Max with 9 tons, a 100 peg and 4 wins.

Dragons 14 v Javelins 7 – Match Stats

The Dragons all but ended the contest after winning all the first round of singles but the Javelins did claw it back. Greg and Mark E with 4 rings led the way while Keith F did his bit with 2 singles win. Without a shadow of a doubt, the worst score sheets of the season. so many conflicting circles I really have no idea which sheet is right. Were you guys all drunk ? The upside of the Javelins loss is that irrespective of the Vipers receiving a forfeit last week the ladder would not have changed unless they lost 21-0 to Ex Pats.

Scorpions 13 v Motley Crew 8 – Match Stats

This match was much closer than the score suggests with the Scorpions battling all the way to take the points. Young Dave Hill the only Scorpion to win all 3 singles with Scotty edging Horse on the tons 14-12. Scotty along with Dave and Brian hit 180’s while for the MC the artist formerly known as “King”, Richard Webber, had a cracking night with 13 tons and 4 wins to his name..

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Arrows 8 v Bulls 7 – Match Stats

The Arrows fell totally asleep as they conceding the last 4 games to reduce their winning margin to 1. Marty B made a welcome return winning all 3 games whilst for the Bulls, Glenn was unstoppable with 3 rings for the night.

Jockys 9 v Wanderers 6 – Match Stats

Top plays bottom in this home derby. After a long season in which the fortunes of each team took opposite directions, it was to the Wanderers immense credit that they took the fight up to the Jockys. Mick Kenny and Lance Albert had good games both with two wins a piece. David Hoy also triumphed against Jockys evergreen Gary Thompson in probably his best match for the season. Derek Smart had a rare off night missing out in both singles games. Interestingly, the powerhouse combination of Clive Allen and Ian Newton in the doubles failed to fire for the umpteenth time this year. They redeemed themselves however in the singles along with Josh Allen.

Slashers1 8 v Slashers2 7 – Match Stats

In the first of this week’s semi-final warm-up matches the Slashers 1 outfit knocked over their higher placed 2’s outfit in a gripping match with 16 players attending on the night, awesome. Nicky sealed the win with the last dart of the night to cap off a good night for him with 5 tons and 3 wins surpassed only by Corey who continues to improve with 6 tons and 3 wins. For the number 2’s it was Michael who won all his matches with Rean smashing out 7 tons.

Devils 8 v Tri-Hards 7 – Match Stats

The Devils won the dress rehearsal for this week’s knockout semi on the back of winning all the doubles and managing to hang on at the death with Dave and Justin clinching the victory after falling behind 7-6. Justin led the way with 6 tons, a 109 peg and 3 wins whilst for the Tri-Hards it was no surprise to see Marty notch a 180 as both he and Archie won both their singles but not before Vanessa gave Marty a hell of a battle. Banger also pegged 105 brilliantly … only problem was the goose had 103 left (sorry mate).
