Dragons 18 vs Imports 3 – Match Stats

70 tons to the Dragons gives a small insight to the powerhouse performance. Ray with 19 tons and 6 low games led the way, Banz a 180, Blags a 115 peg, Edgey a 180 and 17 darter with Carlos starting to hit his straps also with 14 tons. For the Imports JR pegged 101 and hit a 15 darter and along with Nev and Shane earned a circle for the visitors.

Rat Pack 16 vs Vipers 5 – Match Stats

The Rat Pack continue their unbeaten run with a solid win. Horse 13 tons including a 180, Justin with 12 including a 138 peg, Richard a 180 and Aaron a 17 darter. Pat churned out 19 tons for the Vipers, Glen not far behind on 13 with a 102 peg and John 12 tons and 3 wins.

Raptors 6 vs Scorpions 15 – Match Stats

After jumping to a 9-0 lead the Raptors dug in and made a dent in that deficit. Highlight of the night though Corey’s 167 peg, awesome stuff mate. Willie won the ton count for the Scorps with 11 including a 177, Brian M hit a 180 and two 17 darters, Brian A an 18 darter, Scotty a 146 peg and Ian a 109. Corey threw 12 tons with Liam on 10 with 2 wins, young Don also snatched 2 wins

Jockys 4 vs Javelins 17 – Match Stats

One way traffic at West Mitchy with the Javs taking command early and never looking back.

Gary was the pick for Jockys with 2 wins.  Hard to pick from the Javs but Bryan, Max and Gavin were all unbeaten on the night.

ALGC 8 vs Arrows 7 – Match Stats

The Arrows down to 5 almost pulled off an amazing victory but Nandi closed out the match to give the ALGC a well deserved win. 9 tons for Nicky and 5 for Pieter who went unbeaten. Denise hit 3 tons herself but star player for the night was Renita with 3 wins under her belt.

Gremlins 8 vs Slashers2 0 – Match Stats

Forfeit win for the Gremlins.

Tri-Hards 7 vs Wanderers 8 – Match Stats

This league continues to be ridiculously close. The Wanderers chipped away and the 180 kid, Mick Kenny sealed the victory with the last dart of the night. Aside from Mick’s 180 and Lyns 4 tons the stats across the board were very even and represent how close the game was.

Vipers vs Bye – Match Stats

A week off for the Vipers.

Dragons 14 vs Scorpions 7 – Match Stats

Consistent and balanced is all you can say about the Dragons. Clinical in their defeat of the Scorpions. Edgey with a 180 and 17 darter wins the highlight package but every player threw well and fought hard. For the Scorps Scotty hit 9 tons with 2 wins, Joey a 180, Brian A a 120 peg and Ian a 100 finish.

Raptors 9 vs Muppets 12 – Match Stats

It started brilliantly for the Raptors going into the second singles 6-3 up and throwing well. The Muppets then rattled off 8 of the next 9 singles to seal an unlikely victory. Stewy as always ultra consistent with 12 ton, 4 wins and a 120 peg. Liam throwing well also for the Raptors with 11 tons and 3 wins.

Rat Pack 12 vs Imports 9 – Match Stats

Although it was a Rat Pack home game the opposition had already played once before at the Brook and settled in quickly jumping to a 4-1 lead. The Rat Pack just kept chipping away and with the match poised at 9-9 ran away with at the death. If not for a boofhead local giving JR a hard time it may have been closer. Horse with 10 tons and three 2-0 singles wins led the win. Justin with 3 wins also and a 180. Aaron an 18 darter and Gabe going one better with a 17. Jack continued his solid form with 12 tons and 4 wins with Jamie winning 3 with 9 tons.

Devils 8 vs Nek Minit 13 – Match Stats

A see-saw battle at Chermside saw Nek Minit storm to a 3-0 lead after the doubles only for the Devils to hit back to go ahead 7-6.  The home side then made the decisive move by winning 7 of the last 8 singles games.

Steve edged the honours for the visitors with 3 singles wins and 6 tons with Christian (9 tons) and Dave (2 tons) chipping in with 2 wins each.  Standout for the home team was Ngawai who won 4 from 4 with Dylan and Mark adding 3 wins each.

Wanderers 8 vs Gremlins 7 – Match Stats

Look at these Wanderers kiddies go. For those not in the Mitchelton area that didn’t hear it Lance pegged 124. Solid night from the two Daves with 3 wins each, Hoy boy with 4 tons also. Three wins for Guillaume with Andrew (3 tons) and Adrian picking up 2 wins each.

Arrows 11 vs Tri-Hards 4 – Match Stats

Arrows jumped to a 4-1 lead and were never troubled. Scotty picked up 3 wins with Dom and Renita 2 wins and 3 tons each. Vickii (4 tons) and Cathy (2 tons and 85 peg) picked up 2 wins each with Marty also notching a singles win but an off night for the Tri-Hards.

Round 6:

Imports 9 vs Vipers 12 – Match Stats

A great match at Gaythorne with the lead changing several times before the Vipers fired up in the last round of singles with Dorro and Matt handling the pressure to seal victory. A 180 and 4 wins to Glen with Pat back to some ominous form with 15 tons including a 180 and 171, two 18 dart and one 17 dart leg with 3 wins to boot, Dorro’s 3 wins deserves a mention also. Imports without JR were led by Shane with 4 wins and a 11 tons with Dave hitting a 180.

Muppets 7 vs Dragons 14 – Match Stats

Dragons blitzed to an 8-0 lead before a good fight back from the Muppets. Banz (12 tons) and Mark Edge (9 tons) won all 4 of their matches. Stuart and John Jnr threw 7 tons a piece with Stewy edging line honours with 2 wins and a 111 peg.

Scorpions 10 vs Rat Pack 11 – Match Stats

A top of the table clash and an absolute cracker with the Rat Pack coming from behind with Horse and Justin closing out the game at the death to keep their unbeaten run going. 180’s to Justin, Horse and Gabe with Horse winning 4 games, Aaron a 17 darter, Bilbo a 100 peg and Justin a 120 peg and 18 darter. Scotty only just shaded Brian for Scorpions player of the night by out scoring him 14 tons to 8 but with 4 wins a piece. Scotty also hit an 18 darter with Michael smacking in a 180.

The ton recorder’s pencil has a quieter week as The Crew have a bye.

Devils 11 vs Jockys 10 – Match Stats

An absolute cracker between Devils and Jockeys at O’Aces.  After the doubles and first round of singles the Jockeys were 5-4 up.  The Devils won the next 3 singles to go 7-5 up then the Jockeys stormed back in front by taking the next 5.  The Devils needed to win the last 4 singles and they duly delivered to pull off a thrilling win.

For the Devils it was Steve (4 wins, 8 tons) and Christian (3 wins, 9 tons) leading the way.  Stand out performer for the Jockeys was Ian who won all 4 of his games.

Nek Minit 6 vs Javelins 15 – Match Stats

A good win for the Javs.  Luch was unbeaten on the night and hit a 180 with Pete, Hugh and Tony all contributing with 3 wins apiece.  Bryan led the Javs ton count with 8.  For Nek Minit there were strong showings from Archie (8 tons) and Dylan (3 tons and a 103 peg) who had 3 wins each.

Cannons 14 vs Slashers1 7 – MatchStats

A solid team performance saw the Cannons cruise to victory against Slashers.  For the home team Benny was really firing with 4 wins and 12 tons.  Three wins apiece for Mark Lee, Arthur, Craig and Gav.  For Slashers it was all about Carlos with 4 wins and 16 tons.

Round 6:

Gremlins 5 vs Arrows 10 – Match Stats

It was a barrage of Arrows that saw them fly to a 6-0 lead and Renita wrapped it up with 5 games left to play. Denise on fire with 4 tons and 3 wins and Dom not far behind with 2 tons and 3 wins himself. Gremlins with Terry leading from the front once again with Andrew winning both their singles two straight.

ALGC 5 vs Tri-Hards 10 – Match Stats

ALGC took a 2-1 lead into the first round of singles but were blown away by a Tri-Hards in good form. A great team effort with contributions from everyone, 4 tons and 2 wins from Dave Render with Rowey winning all 3 of his matches. Nicky (7 tons) and Pieter (3 tons) won two games a piece with new player Andrew picking up a win also.

Muppets 14 vs Imports 7 – Match Stats

Imports out of the gates early. 12 tons including a 114 peg for Shane, 180 to Jack. Stewy on fire for the muppets with 15 tons and a 180.

Scorpions vs Bye – Match Stats

Vipers 15 vs Raptors 6 – Match Stats

Game was much closer than the score suggests. Pat 15 tons and a 17 darter, DORRO 180 !! and a 130 peg to Pasquale. Donny on song for the Raptors with 10 tons including a 110 peg and 180.

Dragons 10 vs Rat Pack 11 – Match Stats

Two undefeated teams locking horns, Justin led the way for the Rat Pack with 4 wins, 13 tons, 102 peg with a 17 and 18 dart game. For the Dragons 100 peg from Tony, 180 to Keith and a 113 peg and a 180 to Mark Edge and great to see a player like Ray Smith enjoying his darts in our competition. 20 tons, 104 peg with low games of 14, 15, 16 and 17 darts, was a pleasure to watch.

A bye for Nek Minit this week.

Jockys 9 vs Cannons 12 – Match Stats

The Cannons were just too good for The Jockeys at West Michy, getting up 12-9 despite having only 5 players.

For the home team Ian (3 wins, 4 tons) was the standout with useful contributions from Ben (2 wins, 4 tons), Patrick (2 wins, 1 ton) and Clive (2 wins).  For the visitors Banga (5 tons) was unstoppable with 4 wins and ark Lee very solid with 3 singles wins and 4 tons.  The other 3 Cannons (Ben, Gav and Craig) all chipped in with 2 wins apiece.

Motley Crew 13 vs Devils 8 – Match Stats

Motley Crew continue their unbeaten run with a 13-8 win against the Devils. They took the doubles 2-1 and then pulled away decisively in the last two rounds of singles.

Once again Ross leading the way for MC with 10 tons and 4 wins.  He was well backed up by Chris B (3 wins, 3 tons) and Graham (3 wins, 2 tons). Great effort in defeat by Steve (3 singles wins, 6 tons) and Christian (3 wins, 6 tons).

Javelins 11 vs Slashers1 0 – MatchStats

A forfeit win for the Javelins this week as Slashers were unable to get out a full side after health problems took out two players and we hope they are on the mend.

Wanderers 9 vs Arrows 6 – Match Stats

The singles were 6 a piece it was the doubles that killed the Arrows. Three wins for Lance for the Wanderers. Two wins for Chadders and I awaiting confirmation that the 160 at the bottom of the page for Renita was a peg out. If it wasn’t please don’t write it at the bottom of the page, we are easily confused.

Gremlins 10 vs ALGC 5 – Match Stats

Gremlins too good, 3 wins to Ian and Andrew, 100 peg from Terry. ALGC, Nicky 8 tons and 2 wins.

Tri-Hards 8 vs Slashers2 7 – Match Stats

Tri-Hards lost two at the end to make it look closer than it was. 4 tons for Marty, 3 wins and 3 tons for Vickii. Denis, Pete and Noel 2 wins each for Slashers2.

Round 4:

Dragons 15 vs Raptors 6 – Match Stats

Dragons led narrowly until the final round of singles before slamming a clean sweep for a 15-6 victory. Blags and Edgar won 4 matches each with Edgar banging in a 180. Keith Farr hit 12 tons and nailed an 18 darter in style with a 160 peg and Banz produced a 122 peg which just more impressive than his 165 to leave double-3 which he nailed next dart. Raptors are a team on the improve and the score line was not reflective of their quality on the night. Liam with 11 tons, Ken with 3 wins and a 105 peg they will definitely be in the winners circle shortly.

Rat Pack 16 vs Muppets 5 – Match Stats

Led by Horse who ripped through his games like he was setting a new Phillip Island track record, hitting 13 tons without dropping a leg. Justin was right behind with 4 wins and 10 tons, Gabe pegged 114 and Aaron hit an 18 darter. But for a few wires the Muppets could have been much closer, Stewy winning two games and hitting 7 tons along with Peter with Donny, John Jnr and Larry also picking up a win.

Scorpions 14 vs Vipers 7 – Match Stats

Scorpions stay top with a hard fought win over the Vipers. Ian Williams in sparkling form with 16 tons and 4 wins, The Machine Mountney grabbed a 17 darter and hit a 180 in his 9 tons with new player Bob Schroeder pegging 104 amongst his 13 tons. For the Vipers Glen was in great form with 14 tons and 4 wins with Pas adding to his 180 tally with another maximum.

Jockys are on a spell.

Motley Crew 12 vs Cannons 9 – Match Stats

The Crew did all the damage in the first two rounds by flying off to a 7-2 lead.  The Cannons pegged things back by edging the final two rounds of singles 7-5 but it wasn’t quite enough. For the Cannons Arthur was unstoppable with 4 wins, 7 tons and a 106 peg.  Banga had 3 wins and 5 tons and Marty hit a 180 in his 9 tons. For the Crew Dan was unbeaten on the night with 4 wins while Ross, Sam and Ben took 3 wins each as well.  Once again Ross had the radar working as he hit another 13 tons to bring his season’s tally to a league leading 46.

Javelins 14 vs Devils 7 – Match Stats

The Javelins worthy winners as they took the honours in each of the 4 rounds to win 14-7.  Bryan, Keith, Max and Luch all had 3 wins apiece with Bryan hitting the most tons with 11. For the Devils  it was Steve showing good form with 3 wins.  Ash and Christian had a couple of wins each with Christian ticking the tonometer into double digits with 10.

Slashers1 12 vs Nek Minit 9  – MatchStats

A high quality and exciting game at Enogerra that saw Slashers finally pull away in the last round of singles.  For the home team Captain Carlos led the way with an unbeaten night and 10 tons.  Great performances also from James who was unbeaten in his singles while notching 9 tons, and Andrew with 3 wins and 9 tons of his own including a 110 peg.  The wins were spread evenly amongst the visitors with Ty, Dylan, Ngawai, Blaine and Dazza all picking up 2 wins each.  Dylan hit the most tons with 7 but Ty might claim the bragging rights thans to hitting th only 180 of the night.

Wanderers 9 vs Tri-Hards 6 – Match Stats

C grade continues to be super competitive and another cracking game at West Mitchy. After the lead changed hands a few times the Wanderers led 7-4 with all the pressure on the Tri-Hards to win the last four the Wanderers showed too much experience. Mick Kenny knows how to handle a battle and he closed the game out to put the Wanderers equal top. Lance and Dave H winning all their games. For the Tri-Hards it was the happy couple Marty and Lyn Baxter with 2 wins each.

ALGC 10 vs Arrows 5 – Match Stats

Not just a breakthrough win but some really solid darts thrown by ALGC. 3 wins to Pieter and Aden with Nicky adding 6 more tons to his impressive tally but I was most impressed by both Grace and Nandi who won their singles 2-0 against tough opponents. Joel was the pick of the Arrows with 2 wins and a ton with Denise, Dom and Renita picking up a win each

Gremlins 9 vs Slashers2 6 – Match Stats

Gremlins went behind 2-1 early and then went on a singles blitz to sit on top of the table on points difference. Guillaume and Christian won all their matches with Guillaume hitting 3 tons but Terry nailed 5 tons to win the ton count. Anthony picked up two wins for the Slashers who now have their team line-ups balanced out and will be big improvers.

Round 3:

Imports 11 vs Raptors 10 – Match Stats

Try as they could the Raptors just couldn’t get ahead of the Imports but it was a gutsy effort all the same. JR was on song for the Imports with 13 tons, a 108 peg and 4 wins to his name as did Nev. Solid all round effort from the Raptors with Ken really starting to get some rhythm going with 7 tons and 2 wins.

Scorpions 15 vs Muppets 6 – Match Stats

Scorpions starting to look very comfortable in top spot. Scotty and the Machine Mountney were unstoppable with 4 wins each with Brian taking line honours with 11 tons.John junior on fire for the Muppets with a 180 and a 112 peg, Peter the master of the doubles with 3 wins.

Rat Pack vs Bye – Match Stats

Rat Pack had a bye this week but did enjoy a good game against the Devils. Justin enjoying the night against his old team by finishing the last singles with 12 and 18 darts.

Dragons 11 vs Vipers 10 – Match Stats

Dragons scored a clean sweep on the doubles and that lead was enough to carry them through to the win with Edgar securing victory. Edgar a solid night with 8 tons and 3 wins. Pas, Glenn and Matt won 3 games a piece with Glen winning the ton count with 13.

Devils had a bye this week.

Nek Minit 13 vs Cannons 8 – Match Stats

A good performance by Nek Minit team who won the doubles 3-0 and pushed on from there.  Good performances all round with Archie (3 singles wins, 7 tons) and Mark (2 singles wins and 3 tons) both unbeaten on the night, and Ty adding a couple of singles wins.  On the Cannons side Ben, Gav, Banga and Arthur all chipped in with 2 wins apiece.

Javelins 15 vs Motley Crew 6 – Match Stat

The Motley Crew continue to be the team to beat as they buried the Javelins under an avalanche of tons, but they might not have had it all their own way if the Javs could have converted some of their 8 deciding-leg singles defeats.

From the Crew there were great performances from Chris B (3 wins, 8 tons & a 101 peg), Sam B (3 wins, 8 tons), Chris G (2 wins, 9 tons) but the standout again was ton machine Ross with 4 wins and 14 tons.  On the Javs side Bryan (5 tons) and Keith (4 tons) chipped in with 3 wins each and Gavin scored well 6 tons of his own.

Jockys 8 vs Slashers1 13  – Match Stats

A good win for the Slashers who came back from 5-4 down after the doubles and first round of singles to storm home 13-8.  On the Slashers team a good night was had by Carlos (8 tons, 3 wins), James (4wins, 3 tons), Andrew (6 tons, 3 wins) and Steve (1 ton, 3 wins).  The wins and tons were spread around evenly for the Jockeys with Pat, Gary, Peter and Ian all winning 2 games each,

Gremlins 8 vs Tri-Hards 7 – Match Stats

This game had a bit of a grand final feel to it. Some consistent scoring and ots of games going to 3 legs and it was left to captain Terry to seal the win with the last dart of the night. That was his 3rd win of the night along with Andrew with Ian belting out 5 tons. For the home side Dave Render and Vickii scored a win and 3 tons with Rowey winning twice under extreme pressure.

Wanderers 8 vs ALGC 7 – Match Stats

Wanderers led 2-1 after the doubles and kept that slender pretty much all night with Mick sealing the victory with his 3rd ton of the night although word around the campfire was it was Elyse’s 2-0 win that was the turning point. For ALGC it was Nicky keeping his 100% win record in singles in tact and another 5 tons to lead the C grade ton count.

Arrows 9 vs Slashers2 6 – Match Stats

Arrows joined three other teams on 4 points with a hard fought win at Enogerra Bowls. Probably don’t get too many better debuts than Julien’s with 4 tons and 3 wins, Renita and Joel also in good form with two 2-0 singles wins. For the Slashers2 with yet another revised line-up threw well with Denis and Shaun hitting 4 wins and winning 2 each.

Round 2:

Dragons 15 vs Imports 6 – Match Stats

100, 140, 126, 135 peg. Top darts Mark Edge, a 12 darter and a nice peg to boot. I should probably mention Tony’s 18 darter with a 180 and a 113 peg too. Ciaran not too shabby with 16 tons also. The Imports did comeback late in the game to gets some wins on the board, Jamie with 3 and Jack with 2 including a team high 12 tons.

Scorpions 16 vs Raptors 5 – Match Stats

Well the new look Scorpions look to be settling in well, 64 tons all up with Willie winning the count with 13. Four wins each to the two Brians, with Mountney esquire hitting in a 180 and an 18 dart leg. Raptors certainly on the improve with 41 tons, Corey with 11 and 3 wins and Don with a 105 peg and 3 wins also.

Rat Pack 13 vs Vipers 8 – Match Stats

The Rat Pack amassed 73 tons after going behind 4-1 they ground down their opposition. Justin hit a pair of 180’s and clocked up 4 wins. Not to be outdone Horse hit 15 tons including a 116 peg and three singles wins. Pas the pick of the Vipers with 3 wins, 12 tons and a 17 dart leg. Pat hit a 16 dart leg himself and Alex the customary 180 with Michael matching Horse’s 15 tons.

The Javelins had a bye this week.

Cannons 12 vs Devils 9 – Match Stats

The Cannons just edged a high-scoring encounter with the Devils.  In the early stages it was 4-all, then the Cannons pulled away to a 9-6 lead before the Devils got back within 1 game with four to play.  Arthur won a crucial deciding leg battle against Bill and the excellent Craig sealed the win with his 3rd  2-0 singles win of the night.

Everyone from the Cannons contributed but standouts were Craig (4 wins & 5 tons including a 119 peg), Gav (3 singles wins,6 tons including 180 and a 174) and Arthur (3 wins and 6 tons).  From the Devils Bill (4 tons), Christian (4 tons), Ash (6 tons) and Rudi (8 tons) all had 2 wins apiece.

Jockys  6 vs Nek Minit 15 – Match Stats

Nek Minit opened their B Grade account with a good win against Jockeys.  After being down 2-1 in the doubles they won each round of the singles (5-1, 5-1 and 4-2) to power to a 15-6.

For the home team Ben (6 tons), Derek (8 tons) and Gary (6 tons) each picked up 2 wins.  For the visitors the standouts were Dylan (8 tons), Mark (4 tons), Archie (2 tons) and Tyrone (2 tons) who were all undefeated in their singles games.

Slashers1 9 vs Motley Crew 12 – Match Stats

A cracking match at Enoggera between Slashers 1 and MC. Things could not have been more evenly balanced after the doubles and the first two rounds of singles with the Slashers holding a one game advantage.  With the match on a nine-all knife edge the Crew pulled away by winning the last 3 singles matches 2-0 to seal the win 12-9.

The top performers for Slashers were James (2 wins, 6 tons), Andrew (2 wins, 5 tons) and newly called up BNSDC representative Carlos who led the way with 4 wins (4 tons and an 86 peg).   For the Crew it was Sam (4 wins, 8 tons), ton machine Ross (2 wins, 12 tons), Chris G (2 wins, 4 tons) and Chris B (2 wins, 2 tons) who stood out in a very solid team performance.

Arrows 4 vs Tri-Hards 11 – Match Stats

The local derby is always a great night for these two teams who play the game in a great spirit. The Tri-Hards jumped to a 3-0 lead but the Arrows pegged that back only for the Tri-Hards to put the foot down and canter to victory. Pretty even night all round but the stand out would be Dave Render who hit all the doubles in his 3 wins with two tons to boot. Chadders was unforgiving in his singles for the Arrows winning both matches without dropping a leg.

Gremlins 10 vs Wanderers 5 – Match Stats

The Gremlins are starting to warm up now and won an important one here. After jumping to a 5-1 lead it was going to need one of those huge Wanderers come backs in the last round but it wasn’t to be. Terry, Andrew and Peter with 3 wins each setting up the win and a nice finish on the bull from Guillaume with an 88 check out. Snow was solid once again with 2 wins and a slightly hobbled Lance still managed 3 tons and a win.

ALGC 9 vs Slashers2 6 – Match Stats

Last but certainly not least, ALGC enjoyed their first win over a 5 person Slashers2 outfit that almost pulled off an unlikely win. Melissa Kruger the star for ALGC with 3 wins and Nicky also went undefeated hitting 4 tons. Denis for the Slashers2 hit 4 tons and won two games along with Mick but it was an uphill battle.

Round 1:

Scorpions 14 vs Imports 7 – Match Stats

Scorpions shot to a 3-0 lead and the Imports kept them in sight the whole match but the Scorpions pulled away in the last round of singles to increase their winning margin. “Machine” Mountney was relentless with 4 wins and 11 tons, “B.A.” Abrams hit a 180 and Josh pegged 100. The “Metronome” JR was at his best with 18 tons and 3 wins and Jack won two as well just missing a couple of 180’s.

Rat Pack 20 vs Raptors 1 – Match Stats

A perfect example of the score line not doing justice to the closeness of the match. For the Rat Pack Gabe hit an 18 darter, Aaron a 180 and Justin a 180 who also pegged 101 in his 15 tons. Liam picked up where he left off with a 180 and Corey hit 8 tons as well.

Vipers 18 vs Muppets 3 – Match Stats

The new look Ex Pats, now known as the Muppets, took on the new look Vipers who picked up where they left off last season. 180’s to Alex, Pat and John, Michael with a 111 peg and 15 darter and Glen with a 14 darter set up the win for the Vipers. The Muppets threw well against strong opposition and will win plenty this season. Stewy and Scott the pick of the crew hitting 10 tons and two wins each for the Muppets

Round 1:

Javelins 17 vs Jockeys 4 – Match Stats

Despite the scoreline this was a competitive game by all accounts with most of the games going to a deciding leg.   From the Jockeys Ben Hughes won 2 singles and picked up 5 tons while his team-mates Peter Wilson (5 tons) and Derek Smart (7 tons and a 100 peg) were involved in some great games.  On the Javelins team Max hit a 180 and Keith, Luch, Tony and Bryan were undefeated with Bryan hitting a 171 and an 18 dart leg.

Nek Minit 16 vs Motley Crew 5 – Match Stats

A tough opener for the newly promoted Nek Minit as Motley Crew started with 3 doubles win and pushed on from there.  Ross fired in 13 tons, Sam hit a 180 and Chris weighed in with 7 tons with all 3 going undefeated.  The rest of The Crew chipped in with tons and wins while Graham Smith took out a 131 peg.  From Nek Minit Tyrone hit 8 tons, Archie 7 with Mark and Daz recording two wins each.

Slashers 1 13 vs Devils 8 – Match Stat

The Slashers boys got off to a flyer by winning the 3 doubles and then edged the singles 10-8.  For the Slashers Carlos (11 tons) and Peter (6 tons) were undefeated while James and Andrew picked up 3 wins apiece.  On the Devils side Christian led the ton count with 9 while Steve had 7 tons, a 104 peg and 2 circles.  Ash and Ken had a couple of wins each and Bill showed he can hit tons of his own with 6.

Arrows 8 vs Gremlins 7 – Match Stats

It was Gremlins 3-1, Arrows 4-3, Gremlins 5-4, Arrows 7-5 and 7-7 before Vinnie closed out the match for the Arrows. Cracking night for Dom with 6 tons and 3 wins for the Arrows with Terry and Guillame leading the charge for the Gremlins with 3 wins and 2 tons each.

Wanderers 8 vs Slashers2 7 – Match Stats

Another see-sawing affair with girl power bringing it home with Carol and Elyse clinching the win at the death. Lance led the way with 3 wins with Dave and Elyse taking two each also. Great to see more new players joining the Slashers second squad with Steve making a solid debut with 2 wins from 2.

Tri-Hards 11 vs ALGC 4 – Match Stats

The Tri-Hards jumped to a 4-1 lead early and couldn’t be caught. Great team effort with Vickii and Gila winning all 3 of their matches. Huge welcome to the newly formed Albany Links with some old faces in there. Nicky had a solid night with 4 tons and 2 wins but great see new faces having a laugh (thanks for not selling my darts Nicky).

Round 14:

Two Darts 12 v Outlaws 6 – Match Stats

A game played in great spirits with 5 v 5 at Gaythorne. Pat in champagne form with 16 tons including a 180 and a 126 peg, a 17 and 18 darter, Alex also hit a 17 and 18 darter and how good was Tony’s darts. Josh, Willie and Joe won 2 games a piece with Josh hitting an 18 darter.

Scorpions 12 v Dragons 9 – Match Stats

Top shelf match at Gaythorne with the Scorpions just getting the spoils. Scotty hit 16 tons including a 180 a 100 peg and an 18 darter. Jason got amongst it with 13 tons including a 104 and a 156 peg with Grant chiming in with a 101 peg. Greg was back in the groove for the Dragons with 3 wins including a 16 dart with Banz winning the ton count on 13 and hitting an 18 darter.

Rat Pack 15 v Imports 6 – Match Stats

The Imports were in this for a long way with the score at 9-6 but a final round blitz by the Rat Pack sealed the match and an undefeated season. Gabe was superb with 17 tons and a 17 darter, Justin equally as proficient matching Gabe’s 4 wins, hitting 16 tons including a 180 and a 149 peg with Max chiming in with a 110 peg. For the Imports JR was a little slow off the mark but came storming home to smash out 18 tons plus an 18 darter.

Vipers 17 v Ex Pats 4 – Match Stats

The Ex Pats battled well but were up against a full strength Vipers outfit. Glen hit 14 tons and didn’t drop a leg all night. John hit a 180 and Pas a 102 peg in his solitary game. Stewy for the Ex Pats won 2 games with Donny hitting 5 tons.

Round 15:

Cannons 13 v Javelins 8 – Match Stats

I enjoy a good come from behind story almost as much as Elton John and this was no disappointment here. The Javelins led all night only for a 3rd blitz to the Cannons winning all 6 singles to take the match. Banger and Craig set it up with 3 singles wins each with Banger hitting a 180 and a 17 dart leg, champion effort. Javelins were led by the metronome Bryan Ohmsen hitting 10 tons and 3 wins plus a 180 along with Peter.

Raptors 14 v Slashers 7 – Match Stats

This match never fails to turn up the heat and the Raptors certainly did that. 180’s to Liam, Don and Corey with Corey hitting a 14 darter and and along with Liam smashed out 11 tons. The Slashers fought hard but like the match above conceded all the last round of singles to make the loss seem more of a stampede than it was. Carlos and James again superb with 3 wins, Carlos with 11 tons and James with 9 including a 114 peg. The win gives the Raptors the B grade trophy and promotion to A Grade.

Jockys 14 v Devils 7 – Match Stats

Whilst the match was even in the ton count it’s the doubles count that matters. Shooting to a 5-0 the Devils fought hard and could have come closer. Ben and Gary for the Jockys with 5 tons and 4 wins each with some young fella named Pat hitting a 180. Devils were very consistent across the board. Bill and Steve with 2 wins a piece and Christian and Ash with 4 tons each.

Round 1 (Postponed Match):

Nek Minit 11 v Gremlins 4 – Match Stats

The postponed game from round one was played last Monday and Nek Minit were up for this. Dylan with 7 tons and 3 wins was solid but no-one could match Ngawai’s 108 peg for a match highlight. For the Gremlins two wins a piece to Terry and Ian with Andrew smashing in 5 tons.

Round 15:

Gremlins 10 v Wanderers 5 – Match Stats

They might have lost the ton count but the Gremlins didn’t lose the match blasting to a 7-2 lead the Wanderers needed a miracle in the last round of singles. Terry and Guillame with 3 wins a piece set up the win whilst for the Wanderers Dave H and Lance once again leading the charge with 2 wins a piece with Dave hitting 3 tons.

Arrows 8 v Tri-Hards 7 – Match Stats

Bit of classic with the original Chermside teams facing off. Tri-Hards took the early lead and led 5-4 coming into the last singles and needing 4 matches to win the Arrows sealed it with wins to Vinnie and Renita. For the Arrows Dave P won his 3 games with Dave C hitting a 174 and Vinnie and Renita winning both their singles. The Tri-Hards were pretty even across the board with the two stunners Vickii and Marty winning two games each.

Motley Crew 10 v Nek Minit 5 – Match Stats

Still buzzing from their solid win on Monday night Nek Minit returned to Wantima on a high. At the end of the first round of singles they led 5-4 and the MC needed to dig deep to avoid their first loss and that they did. All the MC won 2 games a piece with Ross and Chris G hitting 5 tons each. For Nek Minit Archie won 2 games and hit 6 tons only outscored by Mark with 7. So Motley Crew are champions of C grade and promote to B grade along with Nek Minit.

Round 13:

Two Darts 15 v Ex Pats 6 – Match Stats

Solid performance from the Two Darts with very few legs conceded. Pat and Alex with 10 tons each with Alex hitting another 180. For the Ex Pats Ross is clearly getting his darts mojo back with 5 tons.

Dragons 15 v Outlaws 6 – Match Stats

The Dragons got their season back on track against the Outlaws. Mark Edge and Banz won all their matches hitting 9 and 7 tons respectively. For the Outlaws the sly fox Ian Williams was on target with 12 tons and 3 wins with Joe letting everyone know he’s back with a 180.

Rat Pack 16 v Scorpions 5 – Match Stats

Scorpions led 3-0 then 4-0 and it looked like the Rat Pack were heading for their first loss. Then Horse and Aaron sparked the charge. 180’s to Horse, Aaron and Max, 18 darts to Gabe, Horse, Max and Justin, 17 to Aaron who also pegged 104 with Horse just outdoing him with 105. Scorpions came out firing with Scotty hitting a 180 and a 16 darter and Brian his standard 12 tons but couldn’t stop the Rat Pack from winning 16 of the last 17 games.

Vipers 11 v Imports 10 – Match Stats

A great battle O’Aces saw the Vipers get home in the final 2 matches with Glen and John securing victory. Stellar night for Glen with a 17 and 18 darter, 4 wins and 12 tons and not so shabby from John either with 14 tons and 3 wins. For the Imports Nev was absolutely on fire, 4 wins, 7 tons including a 149 peg.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 14:

Javelins 14 v Jockys 7 – Match Stats

Relentless from the Javelins who stormed to a 7-2 lead and were never headed. Pete and Max with 4 wins a piece and Bryan with his usual haul of 9 tons. Jockys were unlucky to lose by that margin to be honest with some good darts thrown all night. Ian with 7 tons and Pat and Ben with 2 wins a piece made major contributions.

Slashers 15 v Cannons 6 – Match Stats

Seems like only a few weeks ago the Slashers had 4 and now 8 turned up. Carlos and James won all their matches  with James winning the ton count with 7. For the Cannons, Marty was missing again and that’s a huge loss but plenty of legs won lads so great performance.

Raptors 13 v Devils 8 – Match Stats

Such is the closeness of this division the match was in the balance with the Raptors leading 8-7 it was anyone’s game. Don another cracking game with 4 wins and 13 tons, Corey hit a 180 and Liam also with 4 wins and an 18 darter. Dave starred for the Devils with 6 tons and 3 wins with Steve hitting a 180.

C GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 14:

Tri-Hards 8 v Wanderers 7 – Match Stats

The Wanderers almost pulled off a great back after going behind 5-0. The Tri-Hards were finishing well with Marty winning 3 games and Dave both his singles. For the Wanderers Dave H and Lance hit 4 tons a piece with both Daves and Snow winning their singles.

Nek Minit 10 v Arrows 5 – Match Stats

The smiling assassins notched another win an impressive display. Tyrone won all his matches with Archie winning the ton count with 7 and let’s not forget Ngawai’s 2 wins. Good to see Dom and Joel back for the Arrows with the younger hitting 4 tons and the young hottie Renita winning both her singles.

Motley Crew 13 v Gremlins 2 – Match Stats

The MC seemed well prepared for B grade as they put in another unforgiving display. Ross added another 9 tons to his snowballing ton total with Dan pegging 108. Guillame put up the main resistance for the Gremlins with 2 wins and 6 tons.
