A GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 12:

Scorpions 18 v Ex Pats 3 – Match Stats

Another stellar performance from the Scorpions although the score doesnt reflect the true nature of the match. Scotty with 17 tons a 15 and 18 dart game. Hilly with a 180 and two 18 dart games and Grant with a 180. For the Ex Pats pretty solid across the board also with Tristan continuing his good darts with 8 tons and an 18 darter.

Imports 12 v Outlaws 9 – Match Stats

The Outlaws threw everything at the Imports but the visitors from the eastern islands were too good. Shane won all his matches and hit 9 tons, Jamie 3 wins and an 18 darter and JR with 15 tons and 3 wins. Josh, Ian and Willie won 2 games each for the Outlaws with Willie hitting a 180 in his 10 tons.

Rat Pack 17 v Dragons 4 – Match Stats

A team I predicted to come 4th took out the first past the post with an emphatic win over the Dragons. 66 tons thrown by the Rat Pack, Horse hit a 180 and a 16 darter, Gabe also a 16 darter with Justin just shading his team mates with a 15 dart game. Ciaran again in sparkling form with 14 tons, 2 wins and an 18 darter and the metronome Edgar with 12 tons including a 180.

Vipers 12 v Two Darts 9 – Match Stats

A very competitive match that went right to wire with John and Jack winning the last 2 games to seal victory. Glen 14 tons including a 180, Pas a 180, John 3 singles wins and a 116 peg, Jack a 180 and a 115 peg. Two Darts, another 180 for Alex and 3 wins, a 17 darter for Pat and after Pas won the first leg Michael called it that he’d win the next two and did so with a 180 and a 13 dart leg.

Round 13:

Javelins 11 v Raptors 10 – Match Stats

The first of 3 ridiculously close games in B grade this week. The lead changed several time before it was left to Luch to close out the match for the Javelins. A match played in great spirit by all accounts. Bit of Bryan brilliance with 9 tons and 3 wins set it up for the Javelins. For the Raptors Liam hit a 180 and Pieter a 100 peg with Don adding another 8 tons to his increasingly large ton count.

Jockys 11 v Cannons 10 – Match Stats

The definition of a see-sawing match with no team leading by more than 2 at any point. Ian in the end won the match for the Jockys with his 4th win of the night. Solid all round performance by the Cannons also with Arthur winning the ton count with 7.

Slashers 11 v Devils 10 – Match Stats

Another cracking game with the Devils storming back it took something special from James to win the match from the Slashers including a 180 in that game. Carlos the man of the moment again with 4 wins and 6 tons. Some great darts from the Devils with Ash hitting a 180 but it was Christian who was a man possessed not dropping a leg of singles all night and hitting 6 tons.

Round 13:

Motley Crew 12 v Wanderers 3 – Match Stats

The MC continue their march into B grade and a solid performance to boot with Ross back hitting 7 tons and Sam, Tim and Dan winning all their matches. Lance and Dave led the Wanderers charge with 2 circles each with Lance taking the prized scalp of Smithy with a straight legs victory.

Nek Minit 12 v Tri-Hards 3 – Match Stats

With most of the matches going to a third leg it was a somewhat unlucky result for the Tri-Hards but Nek Minit showed how clinical they can be with their finishing. Archie, Mark and Daz has 3 wins each with Archie winning the ton race with 5. Big congrats to Dave for a 180 although his celebrations would make you think he hits one every day with Vickii hitting the most tons with 3.

Gremlins 10 v Arrows 5 – Match Stats

Another battling performance from the 5 player Arrow team. Thanh and Terry won 3 games each for the Gremlins whilst for the Arrows, Renita was untouchable in her singles winning both without dropping a leg.

Round 11:

Scorpions 18 v Outlaws 3 – Match Stats

66 tons for the Scorpions in a near perfect display against the Outlaws. Scotty, Brian Abrams and Jason won all their matches with Brian Mountney hitting another 180 and Jason an 18 dart game. Willie showed his class with two singles wins and 9 tons.

Imports 11 v Two Darts 10 – Match Stats

The Imports shot to a 4-0 lead and with 5 players the Two Darts did very well to fight back to give themselves for the chance to win the game but Nev showed his mettle under pressure to win the match for the Imports. Should probably give a mention to John Rankine for 19 tons including two 180’s, a 100 peg and three 17 dart games. All the Two Darts picked up two singles wins and aside from a 180 from Pat all the stats were even.

Rat Pack 19 v Ex Pats 2 – Match Stats

An emphatic display by the Rat Pack as they smashed in 64 tons. Loads of high pegs and low games, Horse with a 115 peg and an 18 darter, Max with a 105 peg and a 13 and 18 dart game, Richard a 100 peg and an 18 darter, Bilbo with a 121 and a 111 peg and Aaron with a 110 peg. For the Ex Pats, Tristan was not taking the back foot all night with 9 tons and 2 wins.

Vipers 15 v Dragons 6 – Match Stats

The Vipers leapt to a 5-0 lead and were never troubled after that. Jack with a 180, 4 wins and a 16 darter, Pas 4 wins, 10 tons and an 18 darter and Glen with 4 wins and a 180 set up the victory. Dragons had Ciaran and Keith hit 180’s with Keith hitting a 112 peg. Also some very consistent darts from Edgar with 11 tons and 2 singles wins.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 12:

Javelins 12 v Slashers 9 – Match Stats

For only having 4 players the Slashers were in this a long way. Bryan with 7 tons and 4 wins was solid under pressure whilst for the Slashers James won 4 also with 7 tons and Carlos hit a 180 in his 11 tons with 3 wins to his name.

Raptors 13 v Jockys 8 – Match Stats

Raptors continue to dominate the league with a solid win over the in-form Jockys. Don and Liam won 4 games with the ever reliable Corey hitting a 180 and a 101 peg in his 11 tons with 3 wins also. For the Jockys Gary pegged 120 and won his 4 games with Ian also in form with 9 tons including a 142 peg and 3 wins. There was also a particular Jockys player, who shall remain nameless, who hit a 180 late in the night. Just a shame he only had 164 left.

Cannons 12 v Devils 9 – Match Stats

The Cannons were pushed all the way by a spirited Devils outfit. Ben and Marty with 3 wins with Captain Gobshite hitting a 180 in his 9 tons. For the Devils Christian hit 8 tons and Steve returned to his best darts with 4 wins.

Round 12:

Motley Crew 11 v Tri-Hards 4 – Match Stats

Not much going wrong for the MC with another strong win. 5 tons and 3 wins from Graham and Sam leading the way. Dave for the Tri-Hards won two matches and Lyn threw some excellent darts to win her singles well.

Nek Minit 13 v Gremlins 2 – Match Stats

An under strength Gremlins were handed a darting lesson by Nek Minit as Mark led the way with 7 tons including two 140’s. For the Gremlins, Terry and Andrew notched a win each.

Wanderers 10 v Arrows 5 – Match Stats

Wanderers notched another win against a 4 player Arrows outfit. Dave Hoy won all his matches for the Wanderers while the Arrows line-up all fought hard with Vinnie scoring 2 singles wins, Denise a 2-0 singles win, Renita a singles win and Dave 3 tons, 1 win and a 17 dart game.

Round 10:

Rat Pack 14 v Outlaws 7 – Match Stats

Up against a 5 player Outlaws outfit it was perhaps not as a dominant display as you would expect from the table topping Rat Pack. Bilbo kicked off the night with a 180 in his 10 tons and didn’t drop a leg in his singles with Horse hitting 13 tons and a 17 darter darter and Aaron a 110 peg. For the Outlaws it was the soon to be 21 year old Joshie Williams with 3 win, 7 tons including a 102 peg and a 17 darter.

Two Darts 11 v Dragons 10 – Match Stats

Nothing short of a classic match between the two Chermside teams. Neck and neck all the way with Alex securing the win to complete a good night for him with a 180, 18 darter and 108 peg. Tony and Pat also hit high pegs of 110 and 132 respectively with the bionic man, Rick Plimmer, winning 4 games. For the Dragons it was Martin “Banz” Bansey justifying his rep call-up with 13 tons, a 180 and 3 singles wins.

Imports 13 v Ex Pats 8 – Match Stats

Another equally impressive from a team a man down with the Ex Pats playing very well in their loss to Imports. JR and Ash with 4 wins a piece led the way for the Imports with JR hitting 15 tons. Tristan was on a mission with 13 tons including 7 x 140’s. Stewy also on fire with 3 wins, 9 tons and an 18 darter

Scorpions 13 v Vipers 8 – Match Stats

Scorpions back to their best to hand their Vipers their 3rd loss of the season. Brian “The Machine” Mountney with 16 tons including a 180, a 13 and an 18 dart game. Scotty also impressive with 3 singles wins, a 180 and an 18 darter. For the Vipers it was Frosty firing up for rep this Saturday with 3 wins and an 18 darter with Pas very consistent with 11 tons.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 11:

Jockys 12 v Slashers 9 – Match Stats

The Jockys continue their good form of late with an impressive win over the in-form Slashers. Ian with 4 wins and Ben with 6 tons and 3 wins led the way. For the Slashers Andrew notched 4 wins with James smashing out 8 tons including a 115 peg.

Raptors 14 v Cannons 7- Match Stats

In the top of the table battle the Raptors pulled 2 points clear with a solid win over the Cannons. Don hit another 180 but it was Nicky that led the charge with 8 tons and 4 wins (good luck in PNG). For the Cannons it was Marty again the trump card with 5 tons and 3 wins.

Javelins18 v Devils 3 – Match Stats

Everything but the score would suggest this was a close game with most matches going to 3 legs. Big night from Pete with 3 singles wins and a 110 peg in his 5 tons. For the Devils it was the standard ton count for Steve with 6 but a really unlucky night for the Devils.

Round 11:

Motley Crew 13 v Arrows 2 – Match Stats

No quarter shown again from the MC with another dominant display. Ross won the ton count with 5 with everyone else posting 3. For the Arrows some joy from Dom with 2 tons and 2 wins but a tough night at the office for the Arrows.

Gremlins 13 v Tri-Hards 2 – Match Stats

The score doesn’t really reflect the closeness of the match with the Tri-Hards winning the ton count 11-8. Terry led from the front for the Gremlins with 3 wins and 3 tons. Strong night for Dave from the Tri-Hards with 4 tons but it was the ladies, Lyn and Gila who took out the singles wins.

Nek Minit 13 v Wanderers 2 – Match Stats

Another lop-sided result to finish the round. Lots of tons from the Morehu’s with Dylan edging out the older lads with 5. Good to see a few more Wanderers back on deck with Lance the only one to win a singles.

Round 9:

Rat Pack 12 v Vipers 9 – Match Stats

A matching fitting of a top of the table clash with 124 tons and 4 x 180’s. Rat Pack jumped to a 7-2 lead after winning 5 of the first round of singles only for the Vipers win 5 of the next 6 to make it 8-7 to the Rat Pack. Vipers then went 9-8 up only for Rat Pack to peg back to 10-9 up. With the game in the balance with 3rd legs playing in both singles Aaron and Horse simultaneously pegged out to make it 12-9. Horse with 16 tons and a 180, Richard with a 105 peg, Aaron a 110 peg and the bloody legend Justin King with 12 tons, a 180 and 4 wins. Glen hit a 180 in his 15 tons for the Vipers and new signing Joe smashed 14 tons and 3 wins but the player of the match for me was Dorro with his 180 and consistent darts threw out of his skin and could very easily have won the match for his team.

Dragons 13 v Imports 8 – Match Stats

It was a very tight match early at the end of the first round of singles the score was 5-4 in the Imports favour. JR had just won the first leg of his singles and then came a Mark Edge masterclass Back to back 16 dart legs including a 180 literally changed the momentum of the game with the Dragons winning all 6 singles in the second round to set up the win. Ciaran and Edgar were dominant also with 4 wins a piece and a 17 darter from Edgar. For the Imports Shane and JR threw 11 tons a piece but it was Ken and Ashley doing the hard yards with 3 wins each.

Outlaws 21 v Ex Pats 0

Second forfeit from the Ex Pats, I sincerely hope they can recover from this.

Two Darts 12 v Scorpions 9 – Match Stats

The old rivalry renewed and a top game of darts with Two Darts jumping to an early 6-3 lead and that proved to be enough. Pat was back to his best with 16 tons including a 14 darter. Blags was also solid with 11 tons including a 106 peg and Walshy made a cameo with 3 wins and a 180 also. For the Scorpions a bit of sun and surf did Scotty the world of good as he blitzed all in front of him with 4 wins and 12 tons including a 100 finish.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 10:

Jockys 13 v Devils 8 – Match Stats

The Jockys bolted out of the gates to lead 7-2 and that proved too much for the Devils. Ian was in sparkling form winning all his games and hitting 6 tons including four 140’s. For the Devils who were missing Steve, everyone dug deep and contributed with Christian edging the ton race with 4.

Slashers 11 v Raptors 10 – Match Stats

What a cracker of a game this was with 73 tons thrown either side would be competitive in A grade on the darts thrown. Raptors jumped to a 3-0 lead but the Slashers pegged them back winning 4 singles in the next 2 rounds of singles with Andrew Bruce closing out the match with his 3rd won including 9 tons. Carlos and James couldn’t be separated with 3 wins and 9 tons also. For the Raptors Liam smashed out 12 tons and won 3 games and they will be fired up for the Cannons this week.

Cannons 13 v Javelins 8 – Match Stats

Full strength teams for both sides and a cracking match. Javelins led 5-4 early but won only one of the next round of singles and couldn’t claw back. Marty with 4 wins, Arthur won 3 himself and hit 8 tons with Craig hitting his first 180 of the year. For the Javelins the old silver fox Hughie was in scintilating form with 4 wins, Bryan hit 10 tons with Pete hitting a 180 and a 106 peg. The win sends the Cannons to the top of the ladder as they face off against the Raptors this week.

Round 10:

Arrows 9 v Tri-Hards 6 – Match Stats

The original local derby was a very close match with the Arrows leading 5-4 into the last round of singles with Denise and Dave sealing victory. Dave led from the front with 3 wins and as many tons with Renita chiming on with a 78 peg in her two wins. Marty for the Tri-Hards won all his matches and Vickii once again led the ton count with 3.

Wanderers 9 v Gremlins 6 – Match Stats

The Wanderers fresh from their first win charged to a 5-0 lead against a 5-player Gremlins outfit. Tim and Dave won all their matches with Elyse getting her first two wins of the season also, YAY !! For the Gremlins the standout highlight was Christian Proctor hitting his first 180 ever. That’s the second player in 2 weeks to do that so glad to see the competition standard improving.

Motley Crew 12v Nek Minit 3 – Match Stats

Apparently it was a top of the table clash but no-one told the MC. A team of mostly new players the Motley Crew are almost certain to promote into B grade next season. Ross with 8 tons now sits behind team mate Sam and opponents Archie on the MVP ladder. Consistent darts from Nek Minit once again but it wasn’t their night so the Wanderers may well cop the return to form this week.

Round 8:

Vipers 17 v Outlaws 4 – Match Stats

I am sure the Vipers missed John Ives but it didn’t seem like it on the score sheet. Pas and Glen with 11 tons, Glen and Jack with 4 wins a piece. Ian hit 9 tons for the Outlaws with Michael Street winning two singles. The Vipers now host Rat Pack next match in a top of the table clash.

Rat Pack 14 v Two Darts 7 – Match Stats

Two Darts started strongly and at 3-2 up they looked to be set to avenge their first round loss, then Horse entered the fray. 128 peg, 18 darts. Aaron chimed in with a 111 peg of his own and Justin put the icing on the cake with a 151 peg and two 18 dart legs. Alex was solid as ever with 14 tons and wins with Rick hitting a 180.

Dragons 16 v Ex Pats 5 – Match Stats

Another solid team performance from the Dragons. Hard to pick any stand out performers but Ciaran and Greg both justified their selection in the Skulls later this month with three 2-0 singles victories. Donny hit 10 tons for the Ex Pats closely followed by Stewy with 9 tons and 2 wins to his name.

Imports 11 v Scorpions 10 – Match Stats

The local derby at Gaythorne was a belter. Every time the Scorpions pegged back the Imports that got back into the lead and so it was in the final round of singles with JR and Shane closing out the game with two games to play. Nev Snr hit a 180 and Shane an 18 darter. Brian “Machine” Mountney hit his standard quota of 14 tons and also hit a 15 darter with Brian Abrams hitting a 180 (welcome back to the Oche Daryl and Dave).

Round 9:

Jockys 11 vJavelins 10 – Match Stats

The Jockys stormed to a 5-0 lead and were never sighted although the Javelins stormed home to close the gap. Ben was in sparkling form with 9 tons and 4 wins to his name. Bryan hit 13 tons for the Javelins with Keith and Tony winning 3 singles each.

Raptors 15 v Devils 6 – Match Stats

The Raptors kept their slender lead with a well deserved win against the Devils. Corey, Nicky and Don won all their matches with Don taking the honours with 10 tons and a 16 dart leg. For the Devils Ash was hard to beat with 3 wins who in combination with Dave hit an 18 dart leg in their doubles.

Cannons 11 v Slashers 10 – Match Stats

The match of the round was at Chermside. After leading 4-3 the Cannons went behind 10-6 only to win the last 5 singles with Banga and Craig winning the last 2 matches to seal the win. Marty was back and firing with 8 tons and 4 wins. For the Slashers James was accurate again with 8 tons and Carlos continued his rapid climb up the MVP ladder with three 2-0 singles wins.

Round 9:

Wanderers 9 v Tri-Hards 6 – Match Stats

For those of you outside a 5km radius from Chermside, Paula hit her first 180 (nice one Paula) and like any good dart player followed it with a 7, which in her case was fine because that was what she had left. Unfortunately for the Tri-Hards though it was the Wanderers who celebrated their first win of the season on the back of a relentless Lance who won all his matches. For the Tri-Hards it was the stunning Cathy who couldn’t miss with 3 wins of her own, with CJ, Vickii and Paula hitting 3 tons each.

Motley Crew 15 v Gremlins 11 – Match Stats

MC continue to impress with 28 tons led by Ross with 8 of his own and winning both his singles 2-0. Sam won all his matches also and for the Gremlins it was Ian hitting the most tons with 4.

Nek Minit 9 v Arrows 6 – Match Stats

Some impressive peg outs from Nek Minit and although there were no ton plus pegs in there, 80, 87 and 90 are worth a mention. Dylan and Tyrone won all their matches whist for the Arrows it was Denise who was unbeatable in her singles.

Round 8:

Raptors 11 v Javelins 10 – Match Stats

The Raptors rocketed to a 6-0 win and perhaps underestimated the experience and skill of their opponents. The Javelins came firing back and with a 10-8 lead looked like they had the match wrapped up but Nicky, Pieter and Liam had other ideas and snatched the match 11-10. Stellar night from Liam with 9 tons including a 114 and a 116 peg out. All round performance from the Javelins with 4 players winning 2 singles.

Cannons 11 v Jockys 10 – Match Stats

After starting the match without Captain Gav the Cannons soldiered on until he was able to dispense the bar duties and eventually win the match for the home side. Banger and Craig with 3 wins a piece set up a solid team effort. For the Jockys, Derek did very little wrong with 7 tons and 3 wins.

Slashers 15 v Devils 6 – Match Stats

Everything clicked for the Slashers in a night of outstanding darts. Andrew with 12 tons and James with 10 led the way taking 4 wins a piece. For the Devils Christian continues to fire with 11 tons and although Vanessa pegged 86 she just couldn’t stop Denis.

Round 8:

Nek Minit 10 v Wanderers 5 – Match Stats

The Nek Minit steam train rolls on but with the match at 5-4 the Wanderers did have a sniff of victory. Archie and Tyrone with 3 wins and Wills with 6 tons. For the Wanderers we welcome two new players Sean and the beautiful Elyse who both enjoyed their first comp night.

Motley Crew 12 v Arrows 3 – Match Stats

Another clinical display from the MC with Graham leading from the front with 3 tons and a 103 peg. Ross continued his charge up the MVP ladder with 8 tons and two 2-0 singles wins. For the Arrows who led 2-0 it Was Dom getting back to some form with 6 tons.

Gremlins 12 v Tri-Hards 3 – Match Stats

The Gremlins kept in touch with the top of the table after a resounding victory. Nathan with 6 tons and 3 wins was untouchable for the Gremlins. Paula led from the front for the Tri-Hards with two singles wins and we also welcome another new player, the talented and gorgeous Vickii who is ready to fire this week against the Wanderers.

Round 7:

Vipers  14 v Ex Pats 7 – Match Stats

The Vipers shot to a 7-2 lead which really took the steam out of the Ex Pats. 180’s from John, Pas and Glen with John and Glen winning all their matches (once again). For the Ex Pats Tristan banged in 11 tons and a 17 darts with Donny winning two singles.

Rat Pack 16 v Imports 5 – Match Stats

The Rat Pack continued their unbeaten run with a convincing that didn’t reflect the evenness of the match. Solid team performance with 56 tons thrown, a 180 to Gabe, a 109 peg from Aaron, and a 100 and 140 peg for Justin with Max and Aaron winning all their matches. For the Imports James hit an 18 darter with JR hitting a 180, 14 tons and a 100 peg.

Dragons 11 v Scorpions 10 – Match Stats

A high quality match at Chermside saw the lead change several times before Brock closed out the match for the Dragons. 180’s for Brock, Edgar and a pair for Mark Edge with Banz pegging 108. For the Scorpions stats galore. A 17 darter from Brian, a 17 and 18 darter from Scotty who hit 16 tons including eight 140’s and some new young gun called John hill hit a 180 amongst his 16 tons, a 118 peg and to top it off a 15 and 17 darter.

Two Darts 15 v Outlaws 6 – Match Stats

Two Darts turned it on at Chermside with some big darts. Alex another 180 and a 16 darter, Greg with two 180’s of his own plus a 111 peg and Pat also a big 134 peg. For the Outlaws Josh was outstanding winning all 4 matches including two 2-0 singles wins.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 7:

Raptors 15 v Jockys 6 – Match Stats

The Raptors set up a top of the table clash next round against the Javelins with a clinical win over the Jockys. Corey was a ton machine with 11 including two 140’s and Don solid as ever with 4 wins. For the Jockys Ben hit 8 tons for the second week in a row with 2 circles with Clive also chipping in with 2 circles.

Cannons 17 v Devils 4 – Match Stats

Some very consistent finishing set up the win for the Cannons who keep the pressure on top 2. Arthur, Marty and Craig won all their matches with Arthur the tons with 10. For the Devils is Christian with 5 tons, 2 wins and a 17 darter who starred.

Javelins 11 v Slashers 10 – Match Stats

Given the quality of the darts it’s hard to believe the Slashers have only won one match. The Javelins have always been consistent across the whole team and nothing different in this match with everyone contributing. For the Slashers James hit 9 tons and won his 3 singles with Michael hitting a 171.

C GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 7:

Motley Crew 15 v Wanderers 0 – Match Stats

Some nights you are on and some you are not, in this case the MC were red hot and definitely flaunting their B grade potential. Chris Batch matched his trebles partner’s peg out (Justin King) next door with a 140 finish of his own which will take some beating. Carol we are still waiting.

Gremlins 11 v Arrows 4 – Match Stats

Gremlins kept the league leaders in their sights with an emphatice win. Nathan just missing out on a 180 with three 140’s in his 5 tons and 3 wins. Arrows fought hard but just couldn’t recover from being behind 4-0 early. Interesting statistic from the night. Only one match in the entire evening went to a third leg.

Nek Minit 10 v Tri-Hards 5 – Match Stats

A solid all round performance from Nek Minit keeps them in touch with the leaders as they also push for B grade. For the Tri-Hards it was good to see Marty back at the oche and he hit 4 tons and won both his singles. New signing CJ is also enjoying his darts with 5 tons and a win.

Round 6:

Two Darts 21 v Ex Pats 0 – Match Stats

Not the best way to start the results with a forfeit but hopefully it will lead to good change to the MVP rules.

Vipers 15 v Imports 6 – Match Stats

By all accounts a John Ives exhibition with 14 tons, 4 wins, a 180 and 3 low games (16, 17 and 18 darts). Glen also continued his solid form with 4 wins and that man Pasquale won 3 himself and pegged 130. The imports less JR battled all night with James winning two singles 2-0 and hitting 9 tons.

Rat Pack 12 v Scorpions 9 – Match Stats

A crucial win for the Rat Pack against a new look Scorpions outfit. Aaron with 12 tons and 3 wins was only a whisker away from an undefeated night whilst Richard returned to form with 3 wins. For the Scorpions, newest signing, Dave Littleboy won all 4 of his matches and hit 13 tons and an 18 darter. Scotty hit a 17 darter himself with Hilly pegging 123.

Dragons 14 v Outlaws 7 – Match Stats

The Outlaws once again showed they are close to notching their first win but the Dragons were in ominous form. Edgar won 4 and hit 10 tons whilst Ciaran retains the tag as the hardest player to beat in the competition with 4 wins himself, a 180 and a 115 peg. Edgey also got amongst with a 112 peg also. For the Outlaws Ian hit yet another 180 but Willie with 10 tons and 3 wins was solid as ever.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 6:

Raptors 13 v Cannons 8 – Match Stats

A night of high quality darts with 56 tons thrown. The match was in the balance at 8-8 until the Raptors came storming home to win the last 5 singles. Corey once again was a man on a mission with 7 tons and 4 wins but special mention to Graham for his 7 tons also including four 140’s. Marty won 3 of his matches with 8 tons for the Cannons with Banger once again showing his improvement with 2 singles wins also.

Javelins 18 v Devils 3 – Match Stats

The Javelins keep getting better as the season progresses but the score doesn’t reflect the closeness of the game with 11 singles matches going to a third leg. Bryan the destroyer with 8 tons, including a 120 peg and 4 wins. Great darts from Pete and Hugh also with 3 singles wins each. For the Devils Christian and Steve hit 8 tons each and I am guessing from the notation Bill may have scored a zero (or is a bullseye finish ??).

C GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 6:

Arrows 10 v Wanderers 5 – Match Stats

Arguably the Arrows best performance of the season with Denise and Chadders winning 3 games each and Dom chipping in with 5 tons. Lance did his singles record no harm with two 2-0 victories for the Wanderers who just wanted the music turned up.

Nek Minit 8 v Gremlins 7 – Match Stats

Another close match for Nek Minit who came from 6-5 down to snatch at the death with Mark Toto holding his nerve to win it. Great night for Tyrone also with 7 tons and 2 wins. For the Gremlins it was Nathan leading the charge with 6 tons and two 2-0 wins in the singles.

Motley Crew 12 v Tri-Hards 3 – Match Stats

The MC machine marches on with a really solid all round team performance. Tim, Ross and Sam won all their matches with Ross hitting 5 tons. For the Tri-Hards Gila and Paula hit 3 tons a piece and we welcome CJ to the competition also.

Round 5:

Scorpions 16 v Ex Pats 5 – Match Stats

A new look Scorpions outfit were in a dominant mood with Hilly hitting 14 tons, 4 wins and a 100 peg. Brian and Scotty also hit 180’s as did Tristan for the Ex Pats but it was Donny who starred for the Ex Pats with 3 wins with John also picking up a couple of wins.

Vipers 11 v Two Darts 10 – Match Stats

An eventful night with lots of great darts thrown and a few stray ones across the table. The Vipers came back from 6-3 down with Shane clinching victory in the final match. Glenn continues to impress with 4 wins, 10 tons and a 138 peg and will be a great addition to our Skulls rep team. Two Darts outscored their opponents in tons 61 to 54 with Barlow (Michael to me) hitting 14 including a 180 and Tony hit two 180’s of his own and a 100 peg with Alex winning his 4 matches.

Rat Pack 12 v Dragons 9 – Match Stats

The Rat Pack led 9-3 early and held off the Dragons fight back to keep top spot. Justin was a man possessed with 18 tons including five 140’s and 4 wins to his name. For the Dragons Ciaran continued his stellar form with 4 wins and 10 tons including a 110 peg with Greg hitting a 180.

Imports 11 v Outlaws 10 – Match Stats

Cracking game of darts at Gaythorne with lead changing several times the Outlaws were denied their first win by Nev and Shane. JR with 12 tons, 3 wins, 100 peg and an 18 darter set the pace with Kathy carrying Andy in the doubles to get the Imports on the board early which turned out to be a crucial win. Willie with 4 wins continues his good form with Josh and Michael winning 3 each.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 5:

Raptors 13 v Slashers 8 – Match Stats

Some high quality darts at the big golf ball with the Raptors smashing out 38 tons. Don with 10 and Corey with 8 and 4 wins a piece set the standard but it was a Kruger show in the peg outs with Nicky finishing 100 and the Pieter going one better by pegging 110 and 107. For the Slashers, new recruit James Petit won all his matches with Carlos hitting 9 tons himself and 2 wins.

Jockys 11 v Devils 10 – Match Stats

Last year’s B grade grand final replay on display and interestingly, both teams are mid table in B grade such is the closeness of the competition in that grade. And the scoreline didn’t disappoint with the Jockys taking it 11-10 in a very tight tussle. Excellent darts from Christian Cook with 4 wins and 6 tons. Steve Bryant was on target with 10 tons and three circles. For the Jockys Ian Newton and Ben Hughes got 6 tons a piece while a captains knock from Patrick Wilson against Dave sealed victory for the Jockys

Javelins 12 v Cannons 9- Match Stats

Looks as though I put the kiss of death on the Cannons as they went down to the silver foxes, the Javelins. Pete and Luch with 3 wins a piece set up the win whilst for the visitors Banger won 3 of his games and is really shining in his new team.

C GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 5:

Gremlins 10 v Wanderers 5 – Match Stats

The Gremlins returned to winning form with a clinical display. Terry and Nathan won all 3 matches and Andrew Bell posted the highest peg for C grade thus far with 120. For the Wanderers it was the ever reliable Snow and the improving Lance with 2 wins a piece.

Motley Crew 9 v Nek Minit 6 – Match Stats

Top of the table clash was a corker. Tim and Sam started the night with a doubles win and won both their singles. For Nek Minit Archie continues to dominate the ton count with another 7.

Tri-Hards 9 v Arrows 6 – Match Stats

Tri-Hards were behind 2-1 at one point but that was the only time the Arrows led. Fantastic to see Gila post 3 wins and new player John Page also pick up 2 wins. For the Arrows Dom was solid as ever with 3 wins with Joel hitting 3 tons and winning 2 matches.

A GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 4:

Imports 18 v Ex Pats 3 – Match Stats

An under-strength Ex  Pats outfit were no answer to a very in-form Imports team. JR and Ken with wins a piece with John hitting a 180. Shane and James won all their singles and pegged 120 and 121 respectively. For the Ex Pats Scott was solid with 2 wins and 10 tons including a 180. Best wishes to Donny’s wife Di who spent the night in hospital, all the best from the club.

Dragons 11 v Two Darts 10 – Match Stats

It wasn’t really an upset but still a huge result for the Dragons who triumphed over a tardy Two Darts (7pm start fellas, lol). Ciaran continued his rich run of form with 4 wins, 11 tons and an 18 darter. Edgey hit a 180 and Greg a 113 peg to take his 100 plus peg tally to 4 already. For Two Darts Alex joined Ciaran on 50 tons with 13 of his own and Pat made a welcome return to form with 3 wins. 180’s to Greg, Alex and Blags with Alex hitting a 15 darter and Barlow a 124 peg.

Vipers 12 v Scorpions 9 – Match Stats

The next result whilst an upset was well deserved also coming back from 6-3 down the Vipers surged home to win by 3. John hitting 16 tons, 100 peg, 180 and an 18 darter. Nikki also had a good night with 2 crucial singles wins to set up the victory. For the Scorps plenty of tons with Grant hitting 16 and a 180 with Brian hitting one also. Grant and Scotty pegging 116 and 127 respectively.

Rat Pack 17 v Outlaws 4 – Match Stats

The Rat Pack continued their swashbuckling form led by Horse with 18 tons and 4 wins with Aaron also posting 4 wins. For the Outlaws a huge welcome back to North Brisbane darts for Willie Pawai who notched 10 tons and 3 wins. Ian Williams also threw some great darts with 2 x 180’s and a 16 dart leg.

B GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 4:

Raptors 11 v Javelins 10 – Match Stats

In a see-sawing game it was the Raptors who came home strongest. Don with his third 180 of the season in his 10 tons with Liam playing well to win all his singles and post 9 tons himself. For the Javelins it was the ever-reliable Bryan with a 180 in his 8 tons and 4 wins from 4.

Devils 12 v Slashers 9 – Match Stats

Another close match saw the Devils skip to a 6-3 lead early and couldn’t be reeled in. Steve the destroyer with 9 tons and 4 wins but Ash was equally impressive with 3 singles wins and most importantly a 16 dart leg. For the Slashers new recruit Carlos continues to improve with 4 wins and a welcome back to Rob Funnell who should make a big difference to the Slashers results (no pressure mate).

Cannons 12 v Jockys 9 – Match Stats

The Cannons confidence is sky high and so much so they managed to roll the consistent jockys with only 5 players. Marty and Arthur with 4 wins a piece set up the result although Ian with 8 tons and Ben with a 100 peg made it a competitive night the odds on the Cannons winning the comp have now shortened to $1.40 on Sportsbet.

C GRADE – Full Ladder

Round 4:

Tri-Hards 9 v Wanderers 6 – Match Stats

After driving around North Brisbane Paula decided to play for the Tri-Hards and just as well too but it was Lyn who starred with 3 wins. For the Wanderers, Lance and Tim hit 4 and 3 tons respectively with Dave Hoy winning all his games.

Motley Crew 13 v Gremlins 2 – Match Stats

Motley Crew stay top as they powered to a big win in the local derby. Ross was once again on fire with 6 tons and 3 wins. Not to be outdone Nathan for the Gremlins grabbed 7 tons and 1 win.

Nek Minit 13 v Arrow 2 – Match Stats

Once again an unforgiving performance from Nek Minit who only conceded the last 2 matches of the night so no surprises the top 4 MVP player in C grade are from their team. Joel and Dom won one each for the Arrows with Joel showing some real improvement, just need to work on the Sunday navigational skills.
